They are not interested in developing and designing this application to put on their shelf as a stock item. Therefore the design, marketing and financial responsibility is upon me. And, as you know, low quantity production runs cost an arm and a leg to get off the ground. What I am doing is providing the design for the missing link (the adapter) between their pump motor/impeller assembly and the VG30. I am not re-inventing the wheel, or in this case the water pump, rather I'm using a proven component that already has countless hours of documented service life behind it. The Meziere pump uses a ceramic/carbon seal that is conservativley rated at 2500 hrs service life. These are the very same pump motors that have been used extensively on street driven domestics for years and in my mind that proves they are up to the task of operating on any VG30.
